Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Where do I start in selecting the right pool builder?
Interview your prospective builder carefully. What is their reputation? Have you seen any of their work? Do you know a friend or neighbor who has used the same company with good results? What is their standing with your local Building Department, the Better Business Council, local chapter for the NSPI and the Home Builders Association? Do you feel they will treat your property with respect? At All American Pools, customer service is our first priority. We believe our expertise in construction, experience in all types of challenges, and effort to provide superior service to all our customers is unmatched in the pool industry.
Q. What type of financing is available for this type of project?
The addition of a swimming pool is considered a home improvement. When completed, your pool project will add substantial value to your property. A beautifully designed and well-built All American Pools is also an asset when you decide to sell your home. Another consideration regarding financing is the probability that all the interest costs on the loan will be tax-deductible, which helps to reduce the actual cost of the investment. At All American Pools, we will provide you with information and assistance in obtaining easy financing for your swimming pool project.
Q. I have seen advertisements that promise pools at seemingly low prices. Can I really buy a pool like this?
The answer is yes. If equipment, products, materials, craftsmanship, and design are compromised, these "seemingly inexpensive pools" can be built for the advertised price. However, the old statement is still true, you get what you pay for. Our designer will itemize your pool proposal so you can see what you are paying for. Depend on All American Pools to help you determine a budget and secure financing that will be satisfactory to you. We will then design a quality pool to fit your needs and budget that will provide years of worry-free enjoyment and relaxed living.
Q. Why do estimates from companies vary when pools appear to be the same?
Many factors such as size, water features, decking, etc., create the total construction cost of your outdoor entertainment area. Other important factors affecting the cost are not visible on a printed estimate. If craftsmanship, quality materials, design, underground strength and durability, customer service, prompt construction, and outstanding warranties are important to you, then All American Pools should be your contractor. Remember, you will get what you pay for.
Q. What if I have a small or difficult yard to work with?
Unique yards are creative challenges. All American Pools experience in design and construction can handle the most challenging properties. You will be astonished at how our creative ideas can transform your backyard into a personal entertainment center and bring your dreams to life. Before you give up on that small yard, call us for design advice today!
Q. How should I choose the design for my pool?
At your request, a designer will meet with you at your home to discuss your needs and desires. You will be asked specific questions such as how do you intend to use your pool. Is exercise important? What about family use? Where is the most visual impact in relation to the landscape and surrounding view? Your input from this interview along with photographs, videos, and other sources will help your designer prepare a truly custom design.
Q. What affects the cost of my swimming pool?
Surprisingly, the design has little effect on the price of the pool. All American Pools will show you how a properly designed swimming pool will greatly increase the value of your property. Some costs will occur based on the ease of access, demolition needs, and local permits. The size of the pool and deck is a main factor in cost. Much of the variation between pool companies’ cost will be based on products and materials used during the construction process and the level of service a company can provide. The options and materials used in decks, water features, retaining walls, landscaping and many other features can also affect the price.
Q. What additional options are available for my pool?
With technology changing at an unbelievable speed in all phases of our lives, swimming pools are no exceptions. Innovative water purification systems, lighting systems, interior finishes, remote controls, built-in cleaning systems, and many other options are available to make pool ownership easier and more enjoyable. Allow us to review these options with you and propose a pool that will offer a low maintenance pool for you and your family to enjoy.
Q. What about warranties?
At All American Pools we provide you with documented warranties for each product on your pool that far exceeds the industry standard. We are confident in the pools we build, and we offer a warranty that backs up our confidence. You should always ask for and compare the warranties when requesting estimates from builders. We build our pools to last and we will be here to stand behind our product in the future. Warranties are very important.
Q. How much work is involved in owning and caring for a swimming pool?
With today's conveniences, owning a swimming pool is easier than owning a car! Pool chemical testing and maintenance, pool cleaning, and even pre-programmed filtration and heating can be automated if you wish to include these options in your construction. We can make your pool very simple to maintain. Your only concern will be finding more time to enjoy your pool.
